Can you believe it took us 14 (major) instalments of Assassin’s Creed to finally see the game take on samurai and ninjas? It looks super cool and we can’t wait to run around the rooftops of Osaka as Naoe, a female shinobi, or Yasuke, an African samurai. That’s right, two protagonists!

Here’s the good news: BioWare is making another Mass Effect game. Here’s the bad news: most online rumours put the ship date around 2029, as the new Dragon Age is the priority. We don’t know a ton about the game, but we do know that there will be some recurring characters from the original trilogy, including Liara, and that some Reapers are visible in the teaser. Other marketing has hinted at the involvement of Andromeda, which is maybe less exciting. Still, new Mass Effect!

Ubisoft Montreal made the much-loved 2003 Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, so it’s only fitting they’re working on this remake that’s launching in 2026. We’re looking forward to fighting and platforming with the ability to rewind time once more.
Developer: Motive

Iron Man has been in a few games in his time, and they’ve mainly been bad. But now that Motive, who made Dead Space, is on the job, we hope for great things from our favourite quippy Avenger.

Fable will no doubt be one of the biggest releases of 2025, and it’s being put together in Montreal. So far, all we really know is that the game is a reboot with modern gameplay and graphics. The world looks a lot more open, the enemies more developed, and the series signature comedy seems to be intact. Also, this will be the first Fable game without the involvement of Peter Molyneux, who is off somewhere making his own Fable-esque game.

Fans of Dragon Age have long waited for a fourth instalment of the franchise, and the wait is almost over. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is nearly done and shipping soon. We can’t wait to spend literal hours tinkering with the character creator.
